TPS3R Construction in Rawasari Keeps Being Accelerated

The Central Jakarta Environment Agency continues to speed up the construction of a Reuse Reduce and Recycle (TPS3R) Waste Processing Site on Jalan Rawasari, Rawasari Cempaka Putih.

It will be executed on 1,000-square-meter-wide land

Until now, its construction has entered the foundation installation stage with the roof completed.

"We're preparing a location to place the machines," he said, Thursday (11/2).

He explained that next week, four TPS3R machines would be brought to the location. They were a conveyor machine, a back opener machine, an automatic waste sorting machine, and an organic waste biodrying machine.

"It will be executed on 1,000-square-meter-wide land. The location is right in front of our office," he explained.

According to him, the construction and procurement of TPS3R supporting equipment cost Rp 9.7 billion from APBD funds with details of Rp 4.2 billion for physical buildings and Rp 5.5 billion for equipment procurement.

"Hopefully, it can reduce the volume of waste in Bantar Gebang. Because the waste that is thrown away will only be residue," he stated.
